Oh my.
The weather is super cold these few days.
I thought January will be a sunny month.
Those rainy season since Christmas should be over?
Heh.
But...here it is again..
Have you seen the news on the Johore flood?
It had worsen.
The water level had rose up to the traffic light pole.
The whole stretch of roads looks like a muddy sea with
strong currents of water.
What puzzle me was, how come S'pore was not affected with
flood since Johore and S'pore is so close?
Thank the one above, for protecting our small little island.
I am hoping Enell's grandparents house is not affected by
the flood. So far no news of their area being affected.
The Malaysian authority are not doing much to help its citizens.
Poor those village kids who are seen trying to cross a VERY
DANGEROUS bridge which was flooded just so they can
get to school. No point letting them wear a life buoy, as once
they fell into the water with strong currents, they'll be washed
away before anyone can catch a hold of them.
Thankful, enough my family and those dearest to me are safe,
and living in a well-protected country, that's beautiful,
too sheltered and EXPENSIVE.
Well.
Everything comes with a cost.
At a time like this, since we are the fortunate ones,
It's better to help those needy with resources that we can
donate rather than showing off things and be materialistic.
Showing off a car as a Bdae pressie, having a Bdae
party(so old still have a cake with doll? Pathetic childish)
with ministers as guests is not being considerate at all.
Since your fellow countrymen are so deprived of necessities at
this very moment. Some people changed after they reached a
certain 'rank' in life. So what if you have a special title to your
name, it doesn't make you different from others.
We still have the same numbers of facial features located at
the very same place. Even title like 'Hajah' or 'Haji' doesn't
make that person an angel.
Humans are really blinded with wealth, they have lots of
wealth in hand, when actually all these things belongs to
Him.
The best thing to do, is to help the unfortunate and don't be a
showy pussy cat and pretend you are from a higher 'clique'.
