IT'S ALL WET
Heh.
Now i know how mum or rather housewife feels.
I was out at Bukit Panjang Plaza shopping for
TinTin's Whiskas biscuits,
when i noticed the skies were all dark.
By the time i get out of the NTUC, the rained came
heavily down.Lucky i got the folded umbrella with me.
I was however, reminded of the laundry that mum
hanged out to dry at the balcony railings-outside the house.
:O
Therefore, i hurriedly walked like champion crossing the road.
Against the strong wind, flooded grounds.
My jean were literally sticking to my legs and it started to drop as it got wetter.
As i seeked shelter at one of the void deck, suddenly i fell.
And mind you, the way i fell was so graceful.
I sort of trip a little, knees bending-like a man proposing,
then i sort of bow my head to the wet floor with a bag of cat's biscuits.
It was so graceful that i didn't realised that i fell.
So i just bowed to the wet floor and picked myself up lor...
Blur. I know.
The point is - i realized how those women and of course, dear mum feels
when they are outside and it's raining, then they hurriedly rushed back home,
only to realise that the clothing were already wet.
Duh?!
But i think most woman will go through this episode at least once or many times.
But why do we even bother to rush back home in the first place, since we already
knew that by the time we reached the clothing, it will be WET!
So.....next time,
alang-alang dah basah,
biarkan dia basah sudah lah.
