Lesson Learnt and TOld
I've learnt not to wish ahead,
least you be crestfallen.
I've learnt not to think ahead,
least you be devastated with results.
I've learnt not to dwell,
Least you yourself be heartbroken.
I've said not to do that,
However, it's hard not to do it.
I've said it's okay, nevermind,
However, it is very much in the mind.
So, Tell me ~
is chasing after a star up high in the sky
a stupid thing to do?
I want the life back
past 9, 8 or 7 years ~.
Ain't it easy for someone who can just erase everything in mind
once they mention 'lazy to think'?
Tell me,
is it good to be in the position of the star being constantly followed by
a curious girl/boy?
Tell me,
Is it stupid to be in the position of the girl/boy chasing patiently after the star,
waiting for the star to come up at its own whim ever now and then?
Tell me,
Will the star be egoistic of having a body that shines and people loves,
and will take advantage of the situation and appears at its whim
without regards that a follower is waiting to catch hold of it?
Tell me,
Does the star ever understand how it feels
to be the one waiting patiently following it round the sky?
Tell me,
Can the star see people's living while high up there and sense what the follower
is missing by constantly following after it to make sure it shines always?
Tell me,
ain't it better to be 'tired to think' rather than think and get no answers from it ~
Forget it~
Just Tell Me not
as i'm not bothered in finding out the answers
to the star and the follower story.
As
one thing for sure,
i've learnt to take things at its moment.
Not to look forward and be devastated.
Lesson is meant to be painful,
in order to be learnt and remembered ~.
